HNHS offers a complementary Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) training program to our Medical Waste Customers. The training program will help your staff understand medical waste handling requirements per U.S. DOT and other regulations. It covers many requirements, including segregation, packaging, handling, and transportation. This training program is required every three years.

HNHS offers complementary Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) educational training to our Medical Waste Customers. It is based on the MIOSHA Bloodborne Infectious Diseases Standard, MIOSHA-STD-1209 regulations. It is designed for those who risk on-the-job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. The course teaches how Bloodborne Pathogens are spread and how to avoid exposure. It will also explain what to do if exposed. This program is designed to fulfill the requirements of the MIOSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training. After taking this program be sure to talk to your employer about your site-specific policies and procedures. This educational training is required every year.

If you are not a Medical Waste Customer, we do offer the training for a fee of $25.00 per person. If this is something you are interested in, please call us for more information.

Both programs are offered as online interactive training courses but do not include site-specific information. Once users have been set up, they will receive an email message with their login and temporary password.
