Pharmaceutical Waste

At HNHS we believe that being “responsible” means being a good citizen and doing what is right for the communities we live and work in.

There are hundreds of peer reviewed articles and studies, including those done by the USGS, documenting the presence of pharmaceuticals in the drinking and/or groundwater of the U.S. and other developed nations. It is widely believed that the presence of these pharmaceuticals in our water supply will have a long-term negative affect on our communities and fellow citizens and should be prevented.
